Board of Directors

Because Bloomington Hospital is a not-for-profit, community hospital, its unpaid Board of Directors represents the community at large. This allows for continued community leadership to ensure the original, founding vision of Bloomington Hospital remains. Six of the 18 directors are appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners, six by the Local Council of Women, three by Bloomington Hospital's medical staff, and three by the Board itself.
