  • Key support of the newly-launched Volunteers in Medicine Clinic – providing primary care, pediatric and maternity services for those without health insurance
  • Operation of Positive Link, a grant-funded service to provide free HIV testing in several surrounding counties.
  • Community education on health topics such as nutrition, diabetes, cancer prevention, obesity and more. Look for articles in your local newspaper, thousands of pages of health information on the hospital’s Web site and representatives at community health events as examples in action.
  • Distribution of dozens of gallons of free sunscreen at our communities’ swimming pools in our annual skin-cancer prevention program.
  • Lead testing programs to locate sources of lead in our community and keep our kids safe.
