Open 24 hours a day, every day Bloomington Hospital offers state-of-the-art Emergency Services to serve its communities. All patients are accepted for care, regardless of ability to pay.

The Bloomington Emergency Department is one of the busiest emergency rooms in the state. Since 1970, it has been staffed by the Unity Physician Group a team of doctors who have strong local ties to Bloomington and its hospital. The Emergency Department is located on the northwest corner of the main Bloomington Hospital facility, and can be easily accessed directly from Second Street. In Paoli, BH of Orange County provides excellent 24-hour emergency care through certified physicians and nurses. Helicopter transfers are also facilitated through this facility.
