Light Up A Life

Bloomington Hospital Home Health & Hospice's Light Up A Life:

A community tradition for more than 20 years, Bloomington Hospital Home Health & Hospice’s Light Up A Life supports the medical and personal needs of patients with a life-limiting illness and the bereavement services to families throughout south central Indiana.

A donation will illuminate a light on the Hospice Christmas Tree on the grounds of Courthouse Square in Bloomington. Your light will stay lit throughout the holiday season, beginning with the kick-off celebration and tree-lighting ceremony on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

In addition to the light, the name of the person honored with your donation and the donor’s name will be displayed in a case on the Courthouse lawn. Donors can also choose to receive an engraved brass ornament and commemorative card. This annual event allows community members:

• to celebrate a baby’s birth or someone’s birthday
• to honor a friend, family member, or co-worker
• remember of a loved one

As we begin the 2010 season, please take a few minutes to support the Transitions program. Please feel free to contact us at 812.353.9818 to request a donation envelope or to get more information about the Transitions program.  You can also print a donation form to complete and mail in with your payment.

Remember, the lighting of the Hospice Community Holiday Tree will take place on the Courthouse lawn. Join us that evening and help us spread the glow of the holidays throughout our community.
